I’m having an online craft party with Creativebug and you are invited! We are going to be whipping up a batch of DIY Halloween ornaments live on Sept 4th at 3pm CT. Consider this your cordial invitation to join in!

Creativebug
I love Creativebug and am always excited when they ask me to hang out. They have the best online classes with tons of options to choose from and great teachers. My online ZOOM class is free but here is an affiliate link to signup for Creativebug if you are looking for new ways to stay inspired. Crafting Together Halloween Ornaments
In our Zoom class we will be talking about how to make 3 different types of Halloween ornaments.
- Stenciled Cat Ornaments – I love me a good stenciled felt Halloween project. These ornaments are so easy to make and no sew to boot. Check out these amazing monster ornaments and a monster Halloween tree skirt for more spooky stenciled inspiration.
- Beaded Halloween Ornaments – My heart will always belong to kitsch and that applies to Halloween decor too. Who says beaded ornaments are just for Christmas? We will be whipping up a Halloween batch in this workshop. Get inspired with a Christmas and Spring Wreath version of the project.
- Jack-o-Lantern Ornaments – If you have a pack of adhesive backed felt or foam and some blank ornaments you are good to go. We will talk about how to easily transform plain ornaments into something spooky and fun for your Halloween tree. Check out the black cat version to get you in the mood.

Cat Stencils – Great for Ornaments and Mirrors
Speaking of cat stencils did I mention they are good for so much more than just making Halloween ornaments? How about using them to etch the purrrfect mirror? I used the exact same stencil I will be using in my Creativebug workshop to create this fun cat mirror from my new book Creative Crafts for Teens.

Creative Crafts For Teens
My 5th book, Creative Crafts For Teens, will be coming out this October and is currently available for pre-order on Amazon. Not only are there cute glass etched mirrors there are over 50 crafts like stitched canvases, crayon candles, hot glue push pins and more! Can’t wait to hear what you guys think about it and even though it says it’s for teens believe me adults will love the fun projects inside too.

I hope to see you Wednesday live on Zoom and don’t worry if you can’t make it live Creativebug will post the recap. Check out the workshop I did with them last year where we made Halloween wreaths!
