Give me a holiday and I’ll decorate a tree for it. National Ice Cream Day (which is this Sunday July 17th) is no different. I scream, you scream, we all scream for decorated ice cream trees. My Pretty in Pink Treetopia tree was perfect for the job!

Ice cream ornaments are not exactly easy to find in July. Ice cream yes, ornaments no. I had to take matters into my own hands and cut up some adorable placemats from Target.

Lucky me they also had a matching sprinkle covered tablecloth that I used as a tree skirt! My Heidi Swapp lightbox came in handy as a prop too! Hey remember when I decorated this same tree for Mother’s Day with Heidi Swapp letters?

How will you decorate your ice cream tree? Can’t find placemats, I have another idea. Make your own DIY Ice Cream Cone Ornaments. If you don’t get to decorate a tree at least go out and get a scoop.
