I remember my favorite babysitter brought us ornaments made from ice cream cones one year.  I thought they were the most magical thing I had ever seen in all my days.  Many days later I still think those ornaments are awesome.  So much so that I made my own yarn wrapped version.  Check out my yarn wrapped ice cream cone ornaments.

Meredith Crawford from One Sheepish Girl has crocheted herself up some dang cute cones.  Her adorable new book Crochet with One Sheepish Girl: Easy Lessons and Sweet Designs for Wearing, Living and Giving looks like a must have for the yarn lovers of the world.  The cones were not intended to be ornaments, but could be easily!

Balloon weights shaped like ice cream cones.  How cute is that?  Pretty stinking cute.  As many parties as I throw I have often debated buying a Balloon Time kit, this may have just convinced me.  Ok back to the ice cream cones.  These air dry clay weights were designed by Kelly Lanza of Studio DIY and would make a-door-bell Christmas ornaments.

Sure these ice cream cone piñatas by Jordan Ferney are large, but so is my 7ft Christmas tree. Plus I’m sure her easy to follow DIY could be scaled down to ornament size.  Always wanted to try my hand at piñata making.  This might be the perfect excuse.  Pop over to Oh Happy Day for the full tutorial.
