WIN IT!!! Pat the Zombie Book

With Easter being this weekend I thought what better time to give away a book with a bunny on the cover. Except this is not the kind of bunny book you want to put in your kiddlets Easter Basket. My zombie time line started with Michael Jackson’s Thriller video. In my early 20’s I had a boyfriend obsessed with Italian gore so I was exposed to a lot of Lucio Fulci. Recently zombies have enjoyed quite a resurgence. Seems like you can shop on Etsy, turn on your TV or in the case of Pat the Zombie: A Cruel (Adult) Spoof peruse your toddlers book stash and encounter a blood thirsty zombie. Well ok, Pat the Zombie is not really for toddlers. It’s a spoof on the kids book Pat the Bunny (Touch and Feel Book). A bloody fleash eating spoof which makes me giggle. If The Beyond is your favorite movie and White Zombie is your favorite band you are going to want to enter to win a copy of Pat the Zombie. Leave me a zombie related comment and in a week I’ll pick a winner.

From the Salem Police log: At 4:40 a.m. Friday, an officer on patrol observed a city-owned electronic mobile sign on Canal Street near Broadway read: "Go Vikings!" "The End Is Near!" "Zombies Ahead, Run!" "Turn Back Now" and "You Just Lost The Game." Police noted in the log, "a quick check of the area showed no signs of zombie infestation.&

White Zombie is my favorite movie. I don't think those old school zombies ate brains, but I could be wrong. Pat the Bunny was a favorite of mine. Pat the Zombie… it's a masterpiece.

    This book is amazing!
Sadly, my 3 year old daughter would probably adore this book. She loves old frankenstein movies and loves to watch my hubby and I play Plants v.s Zombies. She does an awesome zombie impression and pretends to eat our brains…don't worry, no George A Ramero yet..I think we'll wait until she's 5 and has the maturity to handle it lol

What a wonderful looking book. The only zombie thing I can come up with was while leaving Urban Outfitters in Cambridge MA with a chandelier I got stuck in the march of the zombies. Who would have thought getting to the subway with a chandelier could become MORE uncomfortable. But those zombies did love my new piece of home decor. haha

Last year in downtown San Jose, we had a zombie crawl, which included a zombie fashion show and a screening of Zombieland. Good times!

I cannot tell you how many times my husband has watched Zombieland. I swear, he can recite the whole movie. Well….I guess I can too. 🙂 However, I think John Romero does the best zombie movies, however campy they are…he was the pioneer…

I can email you a picture of my wedding sampler. I'm not allowing ALL of the public to see it yet because my wedding is 4/30. It's going to be displayed by our guest book but the thing is, I want it to be a total surprise. Yes it does have to do with zombies. 🙂

This is fantastic! I never knew such a wondrous thing existed. I hope I win so it can go on my bookshelf next to "How to Speak Zombie," which is the most useful reference book on zombies out there.

Zombie-tastic giveaway 😀 Thanks so much for the chance to win!

Zombie comment – hummmmm, in a recent online zombie test I found out I would last a mere 10 seconds in a Dawn of the Dead stylee invasion. I of course knew this already as my key jams in my front door every. Single. Frigging. Time. Choice would be to live and nudge a member of my beloved family towards the undead hordes

"Zombies are Undeadly Awesome", says my teenage son. The "Pat the Bunny" I read to my son has had a hard life. As the grew up together, my son's puberty was far less eventful. What I know about zombies is: when in doubt, double tap.

    What an awesome book!

Some of my favorite Zombie quotes are "You've got red on you" from "Shaun of the Dead", or from Zombieland ""There is a box of Twinkies in that grocery store, not just any box of Twinkies, the last box of Twinkies that anyone will enjoy in the whole universe. Believe it or not, Twinkies have an expiration date. Someday very soon,

My 16 year old son is a zombie and needs a book to read! When he rises groaning from his pit of stinking rotten flesh it would be lovely to distract him from trying to eat the family dog by waving this book in front of him.

He's already eaten my daughter's rabbit.
