Love is in the air. Valentine’s Day is near and I’m in the mood for red and pink. Here are a few of my favorite Valentine crafts and did you catch the latest episode of DIY This With Jennifer Perkins on the DIY Network Facebook Page? The video is a Valentine’s Day home tour. Every Thursday at 1pm CST you can find me there live doing fun things like covering lamps in cork, turning paper plates into pizza pinatas and giving home tours like this one.

There are several fun craft projects spotlighted in the video, now you can make your own versions! How cute are these Vintage Style Chenille Pipe Cleaner Valentines? These were made for I Love to Create several years ago using faces made by Lisa Kettell.

If you blinked you might have missed it, but in the video I have this fun tassel basket from a series I did for DIY Network about Revamping Easter Baskets on display.

Don’t leave the kids out of the fun. Consider making some Valentine Ornaments.

Want to make your own version of the Paint and Picture Strip Paper Chain? Well now you can.

Sand Art is a super easy and quick way to get your holiday decorating on. Craft sand comes in so many colors I may be making a rainbow planter for St. Patricks Day!

Possibly my favorite Valentine’s Day craft I’ve made this year is my Dyed Heart Basket Planter.

No trip to the thrift store is complete without a birdcage (or aquarium) spotting. Scoop up one of those cages and make yourself a Love Birds Planter. Easy as a can of spray paint.

Do you decorate for Valentine’s Day? Love to hear how you get your heart on!
