Love is in the air with Valentine’s Day approaching.  Are you ready?  Do you have your house decorated?  No worries, I have some fun and festive DIY ideas coming your way.  First up these adorable vintage inspired chenille pipe cleaner people.

You know I have a thing for vintage inspired crafts, especially when they pertain to holidays.  Chenille pipe cleaners are a little furrier and a little bulkier in spots than your average pipe cleaner.  Cut and bent in just the right way they make amazing bodies for cute little Valentine’s Day people.

The best part about these cute dolls are the adorable clay heads from Lisa Kettell Designs.  Her whimsical bits and bobbins are always so fun to work with.  When I received this bag of heads I knew exactly what I was going to make.

These ornaments could not be any easier to make.  It’s all about cutting and bending pipe cleaners, gluing on heads and adding paper hearts.  Once you have a wee little army of dolls just add them to your Valentine’s Day tree or wreath.  I’m thinking I need a batch for every season.
