I realize Halloween is not even upon us yet, but it really is time to start thinking about gifts for the holidays. Especially if you are considering making hand made ones. My buddies Kathy Cano Murillo, Vickie Howell and I all participated in a holiday ad for Michaels. I made a charm bracelet called Twinkle. It was really fun to do. I made it entirely of stuff I found at Michaels and not just items in the jewelry aisle. The big charms are wooden discs that I covered with scrap booking paper and decoupage medium. They have all the instructions for HOW TO MAKE YOUR OWN TWINKLE BRACELET on the Michaels website.
This fall and winter you can see the ad in all sorts of magazines such as….
Better Homes and Gardens
So when you are waiting in line at the grocery store and you flip through one of these magazines you might very well see this ad looking back at you and you.
You can also go here to find out how to make any of the projects in the ad.

I am so happy to have my ornamants on the same page as your bracelet and Vickie’s felted cozy and the other designers too!! My meeting went awesome, BTW. Thank you for all the words of wisdom!!! *Whoosh…* Can you feel that? That is a big gust of glittery good karma I am sending your way!!!

Kathy I love your ornaments and yes Travey-poo I still remeber you.
That ad looks fabulous! How much fun was it to have free reign in Michael’s just to make something fun for a major ad campaign?!? I love it!
It was totally fun to do. They did tell us what colors they wanted, but beyond that we got to pick and choose!
I just saw this ad in Real Simple. It’s HOT!!!!!
