Rock Your own Secretary Chic – A New Book Review!


I am so excited I could pop, a new glowing review of The Naughty Secretary Club: The Working Girls Guide to Handmade Jewelry is out on Venus Zine entitled Rock your own Secretary Chic: Jennifer Perkins tackles publishing with the release of The Naughty Secretary Club: The Working Girl’s Guide to Handmade Jewelry! Thanks tons to the lovely Marilyn of Pulp Sushi fame for writing it! The fun graphic they made up gives you a wee little sample of some of the fun projects inside like the Specs Appeal Necklace, Pencil Pusher Necklace, Secretaries Delight Bracelet, Hotel Key Necklace and Secretary’s Day Bouquet Necklace!

    I saw Marilyn’s review of the book on LJ and Myspace and it has me intrigued.

    Is it only going to be available online? I tried Borders and Barnes and Nobles locally (Tampa, FL) and it’s not in stock anywhere in this city, but it’s available online. (I’m one of those people that like to feel the book and flip through it before buying it).

    Hey Melisa the book should be in book stores eventually. I'm not sure when, but both Borders and B&N will be carrying it. You can always ask them to order it for you and then if you flip through and decide not to buy they will put it out on the shelf for someone else. Actually I would adore anyone who asked their local book store to order it. Including Jo-Anns, Michaels, the more the

    I’m glad you like the graphic! I actually put that together myself. I took a bunch of pictures of the book and Photoshopped it together. I’m glad they used it. 🙂 Thank you again for giving me the opportunity to do this.

    Thank you Jennifer! I totally plan on buying it, the flipping through is just part of the buying process for me… I guess I’m old-fashioned like that! 🙂
