I wear a lot of hats. One of them is brand ambassador for a Christmas tree company. Talk about a dream job. You would think that means Christmas, Christmas, Christmas but actually I have over 15 Halloween trees up around the house. Not the gnarly typical spooky kind of Halloween tree – my trees are hot pink, purple and ombre. I want you to have your own Halloween tree so I’m giving away a $150 Treetopia gift certificate AND I have a coupon code to share.

This week 8 different crafty bloggers (including myself) have teamed up for a week long blog hop – Treetopia’s 2017 Halloween Scream Queens! As the brand ambassador I got to decorate not one, but TWO Halloween trees for the event. I also get to offer you dudes a 15% off discount code (good for two weeks) TTHWDIYQ17F. Boom you could have your own Halloween tree (or two). PLUS I’m giving away a $150 gift card to Treetopia.

The two trees I chose to decorate for the Treetopia Scream Queens Blog Hop were the Black and Gold Ombre Trees. These trees are tall and skinny, perfect to bookend the shadow box in my dining room. They are also narrow enough that you can still get around the dinner table which is important for people that do things like actually eat in their dining rooms. Is it weird that I have never eaten a single meal in this room? Anyway, they look awesome in here.

This is not my first time at the ombre rodeo. Last year I only had one of these beauties, but that was plenty. Funny how two years in a row I have chosen to decorate this same tree as part of the blog hop. Check out the Witches and Wonders Halloween Blog Hop over on Treetopia.

I even made some DIY Halloween Ornaments for my Black and Gold Ombre tree. After making felt monsters, play doh dioramas, baby doll stew, slithering snakes and black cat ornaments I decided to go with something super easy! Like peeling the backs off of ready made stickers easy. Sure I could have just stuck them in the tree, but I stuck them to colorful stiffened craft felt first! Just this little extra step adds so much to the ornaments.

The rest of each tree is filled with traditional colorful ball ornaments, hot pink floral springs and vintage monster collector cards. This room was my version of classy and understated Halloween so I didn’t do my usual add everything but the kitchen sink style of tree decorating. See I can do subtle (sort of).

So which tree is your favorite this holiday season? I’ve been sharing them all month long. There was my big black tree with the teal pumpkin theme, a cause I am especially compassionate about. My Candy Corn Tree is always a crowd pleaser (this year I even decorated a mini candy corn forest). This is my second year in a row to decorate a Hot Pink Halloween Tree and this year I got a little extra creepy. I gotta tell you the Lively Lavender Tree with DIY Monster Ornaments might be my favorite this year. Leave me a comment with your answer and in a week I’ll pick one lucky winner for a $150 Treetopia gift card. Also, don’t forget that coupon code for 15% off TTHWDIYQ17F

Last but not least let’s talk about the other Halloween Scream Queens (and even a pair of Kings) on this Blog Hop!
Cassie Stephens – Cassie is the art teacher of your dreams. Cute outfits and even more amazing products. this woman is a wiz with clay. Just check out all the DIY ornaments on her Monster Mash Halloween Tree.
Vanessa Diaz – You might know this color obsessed crafter as Brite and Bubbly and her adorable DIY Hocus Pocus Themed Tree is just that. Yet another reminder that I need to see this movie.
Jen Goode – Proving that you can use a regular green Christmas tree as a Halloween tree Jen from 100 Directions decorated an adorable family friendly DIY Not-so-Spooky Halloween tree.
Chloe Crabtree – Over at Celebrate and Decorate Chloe is sharing her adorable Halloween Tree and Mantel. I’m especially partial to the rats and spider climbing around in her fireplace.
Natalie Wright – From the sound of Natalie’s post over on her blog Natalme sounds like we have another Halloween tree convert!
Dennis Setteducati & Andrew Boza – This dynamic duo also known as The Crafty Lumberjacks decorated a black and gold ombre tree with a Mad Scientist theme. There are wee embossed medical charts and foam skulls with brains. I love their tag line – E=MC Spooked!
***As I mentioned I am a paid brand ambassador for Treetopia. However, all opinions are my own and I loved Christmas trees a long time before I was paid to.***
Your Halloween trees are my favorite and this year’s might be the best yet. That lavender tree. Holy heck, that’s brilliant. I didn’t think I’d ever love anything more than the candy corn but I was wrong.
Also, those hombre trees. What the heck? I wish I’d thought of an hombre tree. So clever and I can see a lot of interesting decor happening on those in years to come.
