Kitschy Felt Christmas Tree DIY

When I say I have a 100 tree goal I don’t mean that they are all 7ft whoppers like this beauty.  Some of my trees are under 7″s tall. The big ones, however, like this big beauty called Oh Christmas Tree that Treetopia sent me gets special treatment like collections of vintage Fisher-Price toys as ornaments and a felt Christmas tree skirt.

I started this tree skirt last year in a class with some friends at Austin’s Stitch Lab and this year I was determined to get it finished.  The felt appliqués were lovingly handmade and then attached to a readymade Christmas tree skirt.
