Another month another fabulous craft night at the TOMS Shoes on S. Congress. This month we had around 50 crafty ladies show up to sip cocktails and get their stencil on. Whatever shall we do next month to top this?

June’s crafty festivities were brought to you by Plaid Crafts and Stencil1. Two of my very favorite craft companies. Have you seen all the amazing new Stencil1 and Handmade Charlotte stencils by Folkart? I’m loving them all. Added the honeycombs to my pool umbrella planters.
Plaid was kind enough to supply crafters with wooden door hangers, but people brought plenty of their own things to stencil too. There were bowls with triangles, dresses with swallows, wooden planks with stags, picture frames with cassette tapes and more. I’ve got enough stencils left over to cover every surface in my house, and maybe I will.

One of my favorite parts of the evening was a surprise Austin Craft Mafia reunion (minus a few lovely faces). Loved seeing all my girls come out and get crafty.
I’m taking requests Austin – what would you like to craft in the coming months? Wanna learn to make jewelry, string a yarn pompom garland, dabble in art journaling? I’m all ears. If you are a craft company interested in sponsoring this event please feel free to email me.
This looks awesome! My friends and I would love to come this Thursday, July 17. Do we need to sign up or bring anything?
Hey Casey! This Thursday is going to be super fun, however I sadly will not be there. HOWEVER, I have an amazing sub for the night. Ms.Niku Arbabi will be there starting at 7 helping peeps whip up some fun yo-yo accessory action. I’ll be back in full effect come August. We will be painting wooden bead necklaces.
