Have you ever seen a 7ft tall Christmas tree colored like a piece of candy corn? No? Well then you have never been in my bedroom during Halloween.
I was fortunate enough to have Treetopia send me one of their amazing candy corn trees this fall and I could not be more in love. I may leave it up all year round. Lucky for me Treetopia saw my post about Spooky Trees for Halloween and caught my not so subtle hint about my love for this tree. I’m going to start making not so subtle online hints for more things. I could use a convertible sports car after all.
When the tree arrived I knew immediately I had to change my plans for a photo booth at my annual Halloween party and make this spectacular tree the center of attention. Even this adorable piece of pizza pales in comparison to the tree. OK, he is cuter than the tree – but not by much.
Truly I could have left the tree as is and it would have worked perfectly in the photos. However, decorating a candy corn tree is too much fun so that didn’t happen. Plastic spiders, colorful pompoms, paper Photo Booth props on sticks and a giant arachnid for the top decked these halls.
If you know me, you know that I am a holiday decor snob. I like my Halloween kitschy and my Christmas trees colored. It was like the Candy Corn Tree from Treetopia was made just for me. It is everything I could hope for an more in a Halloween tree and more.
So ya I was compensated for this post, but all opinions are my own. My opinion is this – Candy Corn Trees are the best thing to happen to Halloween since ghost shaped Peeps candy. I adore my new tree and for those keeping count I had 20 of my tinsel tree collection out on display. See when you don’t buy Christmas green trees you can use them all year long!
