I cheated on you today and guest blogged on Indie Fixx. I whipped up a little article about free marketing tricks for Indie businesses. I’ll be blogging there for the next two Wednesdays! Pop over and read all about it and then come back and let me know what you thought. Were the tips helpful? Any other freebies I am leaving out? Do you use these free marketing tricks already with your business.
Speaking of other blogs I also snuck in a new post on Badassical about my new favorite artist Mustafa Maluka.
Great article Jennifer. You are a marketing genius!
Excellent tips! I look forward to reading more entries from you on Indie Fixx. There is always something new to learn.
Glad you liked the article! There will be another on business coming and then one on Austin.
I thought this was great advice. I don’t run a craft business full-time, but I have had a lot of exposure via Craftster and various Flickr pools. A lot of people sift through those places for inspiration or just for smiles and I have gotten a LOT of links that way. Also, on Flickr, I make my pictures open so that people can blog them, and I don’t know if that has anything to do with it, but I do
Great advice. It’s easy to get lazy with marketing. Certainly it’s something that has to be kept up every day!
Great article! As far as marketing, I need all the advice I can get. Can’t wait for your next article on Indie Fixx 🙂
I’ve read both of them and they are wonderfully helpful! I love that you are generous enough to share your knowledge with the rest of us. Some of the tips I have been using, and some of them I will start using! Let’s just say I’ve got a lot of work to do!!
Can’t wait for the article on Austin. Even though we moved slightly south, I’m still an Austin girl!
I just found your site after I just made mine. Love it.
So much I put a button and linked to your site. You said you’ll love me forever!
Anyway…I am offering services to business to post or create a large visibility on the web for them. Very indie, very fun, very genius.
Anyway…love everything about your page-stop by and say hi!
