Easter Basket Filler for Babies, Toddlers and Beyond

What to put in an Easter basket for babies.

What do you put in an Easter basket for a baby?  Not what you would put in a basket for a toddler or tween.  Over on DIY Network I have a few ideas about Easter baskets for all ages.  This cutie is filled to brim for a lucky baby.  Think baby food, bubbles, bath books and maybe even some diaper cream.

One of my favorite things to do for Easter is give a ‘basket’ that is also part of a gift.  This truck is a fun option for an Easter Basket for Babies.  Clearly I’m not talking new born, but you know what I mean.  Fill the bed of the truck just like you would an Easter basket with baby friendly items like edible finger paint, rattles and plush toys.  Custom Onesies, Stenciled Bibs and maybe even a swanky new pair of felt booties are also a good idea.

Why not make your own Recycled Easter basket?  I made this one from shredded paper, decoupage and a balloon.  Fun filler ideas include DIY Lacing Cards, Sensory Bottles and I Spy Bags.

Toddlers are such a fun age group to make Easter Baskets (or in this case sand pails) for.  Get crafty and make a no-sew tutu.  Whip up a batch of dinosaur eggs.  Homemade Play-Doh is always a hit.  Check out all my Toddler Themed Easter Basket.
