Don’t Hate Me Because I’m a Multitasker

I recently read a blog post that ruffled my feathers. Maybe I was taking something personally that was not at all directed at me. However, I walked away from the post disgruntled and feeling as if the whole thing had been a stab against me and other mom crafters like me. I wrote a whole diatribe on it over on BlogHer called Don’t Hate Me Because I’m a Multitasker.

Wow, what a bunch of bunk. I agree that our kids love us no matter what, and like you, I love doing stuff with my kids. I myself am a multi tasker that takes on a ton but doesn't beat myself up if everthing doesn't get done. Like you said balance is key people. I totally respect your thoughts and appreciate that your a mom like me. Someone who wants to make every day count with our kids.

I totally agree with you and honeybee! Everyone has their own way of doing things and their own way of prioritizing. I don't think that anyone has the right to judge anybody else on the way they do things, or don't do things! If something isn't bothering you because it didn't get done then it isn't anyone else's business!

I am so totally with you on using naptime to it's fullest. I must admit, I have not yet gotten the hang of it all, but I too know how to use naptime. But rather than feeling you would not "really" be spending time with you kids, I must admit, I'm a little jealous and feel I could do better!

    Warmest regards,
