As someone who calls themselves a crafter by trade it only makes sense that I would decorate one of my many Christmas trees with an arts and crafts theme. Sure there is tinsel and icicle lights and even a few ornies I hand painted, but the ornaments I made to fit the theme are some of my faves. Look closely, can you see them?

Yup wee little paint cans and paint dipped brushes. I grabbed all these supplies at Michaels. The paint cans are near the wrapping paper. Since I was decorating a smaller tree I did not need a ton of supplies.

Fill the bottoms of your cans with enough paint to coat. Make sure you have a paint that will stick to plastic. Also dip the ends of brushes into paint. Feels wrong to not clean your brushes on purpose, but we are sacrificing them for the greater good of Christmas. Feel free to leave the handles plain or paint them as well.

Some paint brushes come with holes in the handle which you can then string into ornaments. I chose to use mine more like floral picks and have them sticking out of the tree randomly.

Hang on the tree in your she shed, artists studio or formal living room if that floats your boat. I adore all the color it adds to my little creative corner. Who needs a mood board when you have a tree like this to inspire you!
