As the brand ambassador for Treetopia I am so super duper excited to kick off our annual Design Council Tour of Homes. You are about to have your Christmas tree loving minds blown. No really, just check out that star studded list. Even I’m a little star struck.

I can’t wait to see what everyone has done with their trees. I’m hoping they are as colorful as my own! This is my Jewelbrite tree (AKA Toasted Champagne Gold Tinsel) complete with handmade no-sew tree skirt.

When Treetopia said they were sending me a yellow tree I had my doubts and then I fell in love.

Speaking of love if someone MADE me choose a favorite tree I would probably go with my Some Like It Hot. This year I was really channeling the 60’s. I knew I had been hoarding that ball fringe for a reason. This entire tree was decorated to match the vintage wrapping paper I thrifted on the gifts below. Did you catch my post on wrapping paper matching your tree?

This is my orange Arts and Crafts tree, one of 10 I decorated for DIY Network. Just goes to show traditional and nontraditional ornaments can live in harmony. Please note the paintbrushes that were sacrificed for tree decor.

Remember that time I spray painted my mother’s 80’s Christmas village? Ya it looks pretty rad in my Winter White Potted Pine Tree. Be sure to stop by all week where I will be sharing glimpses of my 2015 Christmas Trees for the Design Council Christmas in Technicolor Tour of Homes. Today kicks off with the Amazing Michael Wurm of Inspired by Charm. If you have pinned a tree to your Christmas board lately there is a good chance this talented dude designed it. My friend and neighbor Kara Whitten of A Kailo Chic Life is showing her mixed metals tree. Kara is new(ish) to the blogging game, but has always been awesome and amazingly talented. See you tomorrow with more fun and more trees!
