Have you ever noticed that Easter eggs look a lot like pineapples?  To say I have merely just noticed would be an understatement.  Especially yellow eggs, but really any egg can be converted into a pineapple with the right supplies.  Take this egg shaped dish from the dollar section – a little glue, yellow paracord, stiffened green craft felt and boom you have yourself a pineapple ring dish.  See what I mean.  Once you start going with a theme like eggs to pineapples it’s hard to stop.

This week’s episode of DIY This With Jennifer Perkins for DIY Network is all about this very thing.  I kinda got a bad case of pineapple tunnel vision and started turning everything egg shaped into my favorite summer fruit.
