I am so excited to be a part of the My Home Style Blog Hop Christmas Tree Edition! For my stop on the hop I’m sharing my fun and festive flocked Christmas tree. So many amazing bloggers and trees, be sure to cruise through all the links and check out all the posts.

Fun and Festive Flocked Christmas Tree
I loved a flocked Christmas tree – they are so versatile. You can make them super chic like this green and gold flocked tree, cover them in a collection of vintage Santa Claus dolls or in this case nestle in every colorful plush ornament you can find.

Remember the Family Ornaments!
Each year I have at least one tree in my house that is a fun free for all. There are handmade ornaments the kids brought home from school, my vintage Dream Pets Collection, brand spanking new ornaments too colorful to pass up and more. The branches of a flocked tree are so dense you can really add a TON of stuff.

Don’t Take Christmas Tree Decorating Too Seriously
I try not to take my Christmas tree decorating too seriously. Sure, it is my job and all, but I like more trees whimsical and fun. I want people to see something new each time they take a look. Kinda like a Where’s Waldo of Kitsch – sequined bells, polka dotted giraffes, Mary Blair inspired wooden buildings – see what I mean!

Add a Kitschy Vintage Inspired Felt Tree Skirt
Even the DIY Felt Vintage Inspired Tree Skirt is fun. I don’t have any real presents wrapped yet so I used my vintage Fisher Price toy collection as a stand in! Can I just say that I have a real pet peeve about Christmas trees without tree skirts. We all have our issues, that is mine.

Thanks Amy! Those flocked trees are dense you have to add a TON of ornaments, tinsel, picks and lights!
This tree is so whimsical and fun! Something new to see each time you look at it, I love that!
Thank you Linda! It’s kinda my “family” tree with all the ornaments the kids have brought home from school and the left over kitsch that I didn’t use on my more themed trees.
I love that flocked trees are coming back in style! Such cute decor, Jennifer!
This tree is seriously fun! I love all the color and those retro toys underneath!
