It’s the day after Thanksgiving and you know what that means – TIME TO DECORATE YOUR CHRISTMAS TREE! If you were me, you would have already done that weeks ago because that is how I roll. However, today means I can start sharing with you all of my 2017 Christmas trees. You guys know I am the brand ambassador for Treetopia (yup this is a sponsored post) and I am so excited to be the exclamation point at the end of their week long Design Council Blog Hop. PLUS they are giving away a tree, keep reading for details. Now onto my tree…. ladies and gentlemen meet the newest addition to my forest – The Frosty Flocked Tree.

I know, I know – when you guys think of me visions of hot pink Christmas trees come to mind. Believe it or not, I have a soft spot for traditional Christmas too and I have always wanted a flocked tree. When Treetopia asked me to pick a tree to decorate for the Design Council I knew exactly which one I wanted! I’m not going to give you guys the hard sell or anything, but I like a tree with fill branches and this baby has them. I like them because I tend to nestle my ornaments into the tree as opposed to hanging them.

Since it is such a traditional tree I went with a very traditional theme on the decorations – red, white and Santa. I have a very large vintage Santa collection (like this isn’t even all of them) so a tree is a great way to display the collection. Several years ago I decorated my Treetopia Oh Christmas Tree with my vintage Santa collection. Speaking of, be sure to watch the DIY This With Jennifer Perkins Vintage Holiday Shopping episode with tons of tips on gathering up your own Santa collection. Besides Santa there are also traditional ornaments, kid projects, floral picks and a custom No-Sew Vintage Inspired Felt Christmas Tree Skirt you can make yourself.

This year there have been so many amazing bloggers involved in the Treetopia Design Council – I hope you get a chance to go and click around to each of their sites and check out their trees!

Guess what else, you could win your own Treetopia tree and ornament set. Pop over to their Facebook Page and leave a comment letting them know which tree from the Design Council was your favorite and they will pick a lucky winner that could be you! Bonus points if you mention how especially rad my tree is. OK no bonus points 😉

See, I told you I was capable of traditional. OK, traditional to me. So which tree from the Design Council is your favorite, and you don’t have to say me? Twinkie Chan made DIY ornaments, Cassie Stephens went with an art studio theme, Karen Kavett made a You Tube video. So many fun ways to get inspired for your Christmas tree!
***Please note this post is sponsored. I am the brand ambassador for Treetopia and was compensated and given free supplies. However, all opinions and Christmas obsessions are my own.***
