I’ve made plastic eggs into rain cloud mobiles, nest necklaces and even light bulb covers for marquee lights. They are just to cheap and cute not to craft into something fabulous like say a planter! DIY Easter Egg Planters by Curbly– The folks over at Curbly got crafty and turned a plastic egg into a planter. Must be a big egg to hold three plants!
From Jumbo Sized Easter Egg to Adorable Geometric Planter– Jumbo eggs never looked cuter than when they are wrapped in cording, spray painted neon pink and turned into a hanging planter. Given I’m biased since I made it.

Plastic Easter Egg Flower Pots by Made with Happy– Use the top AND the bottom of those plastic eggs to create this rainbow planter set. Wonder if you could grow some yummy sprouts in there for egg salad sandwiches.

Easter Basket Terrariums by Jennifer Perkins– Have you ever seen those clear Easter baskets full of plastic eggs? Take the eggs out and make the basket a terrarium. Painted Easter egg rocks optional, but highly recommended.

Last, but far from least these cuties are not exactly eggs – but they are egg cups. I think that totally counts! I found these egg cups at the thrift store, spray painted them and used paint markers to create wee faces. Matches my Easter decor perfectly, but cute enough to stay up year round.
