Get Crafty at The Renegade Craft Fair

Continuing my week long excitement about The Renegade Craft Fair I wanted to mention all the fun craft activities going on. Not only are you going to be able to shop with over 200 Indie craft artists you are going to be able to get crafty yourself! Stop by the Austin Craft Mafia, Wondercraft or Stitch Lab booth to try your hand at embroidery, jewelry making, screen printing and more.

Not all those demo’s are at the Stitch Lab booth, right in the same area is the Austin Craft Mafia booth which is being hosted by Susann Koehane and Yudu. Don’t know the awesomeness of the Yudu? Get acquainted before the show by learning to make a record clock and record bracelets.

I honeymooned in an Airstream Trailer park so you know I adore Austin’s The Wondercraft. They are going to be parking Stella, yes the airstream, right inside the Palmer Events Center so you can shop and trick out some timber. I can hardly wait!

Ever since I read my first Bust way back in 1999, I've wanted to go to the Brooklyn Renegade Craft Fair. It gave me hope that there was more out there than just the small college East Texas town I felt stuck in. And every April/May edition would talk about it or have features…it was like the Brooklyn Renegade Craft Fair embodied everything I wanted my life, and where I lived, to be.

I always get this trailer mixed up with the one that sells gourmet bacon-wrapped hotdog doughnut tacos.

    Yay! Can't wait.

You're one of the main reasons I'm coming all the way to Austin from Sacramento, CA! I'm already drooling at all your crafty peeks for the show.
